this is such a wine. This wine is made with minimal treatment, no use of fertilisers or herbicides. Leaf thinning is carried out in August in order to allow air to circulate amongst the grapes and to promote better ripening. A strict green harvest is also carried out to eliminate superfluous grapes. The wine is rich, ripe and balanced with that characteristic spring in its step; modern Loire Cab Franc at its best. |
