The minimum order for delivery is £50. We will look to reduce this minimum in due course. Cases can be mixed. As long as the products you have requested are in stock, we offer next working day delivery of goods within mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) on all orders received by 2.00pm. Orders received after 2.00pm will not be dispatched until the following working day. If what you have ordered is not in stock, we will notify you of the options Our carriers consider "working days” to be Monday to Friday only Deliveries are normally made between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm, although during busy periods these times may change We currently only deliver to mainland UK including England, Wales and Scotland. We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Isles of Scilly and Scottish Islands. However, it is our intention to extend delivery to these areas in the near future We offer Saturday morning deliveries and time-specific deliveries, but surcharges do apply (see Delivery charges below) We do not deliver on Sundays or Bank Holidays We do not offer a same day delivery service Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery times unless a time-specific delivery has been requested and paid for If you would like your order to be delivered on a specific day in the future, please note this in the in the Special Delivery Instructions box located at the checkout Internet tracking – when your order is placed with us, you will receive an e-mail from our courier (in addition to receiving an e-mail from ourselves acknowledging your order) pre-alerting you as to when the goods will be delivered and also providing you with a unique internet tracking number so that you can track your parcel online Delivery chargesNext working day delivery to CT1 postcodes is free of chargeNext working day delivery to CT postcodes other than CT1 costs £5.00 per delivery address Next working day delivery anywhere else in mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) is fixed at a rate of £10.00 per delivery address We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands Time specific deliveries - chargesMonday to Friday morning before 12.00pm to any CT postcode, including CT1 postcodes - £10.00Monday to Friday morning before 12.00pm to anywhere else in mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) - £15.00 Saturday morning before 12.00pm to any CT postcode, including CT1 postcodes - £30.00 Saturday morning before 12.00pm to anywhere else in mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) - £35.00 Our advice to ensure smooth deliveryWe strongly advise all customers to consider carefully where the goods are to be deliveredTo ensure that we offer the highest level of service to our clients, it is important that you provide us with complete delivery details (full name, address including post code, & contact telephone number) Our carriers need a signature for the delivery, so please advise an address where somebody can sign for them Use a work address for delivery if a residential delivery could be difficult When you order online, you can leave an instruction for parcels to be left with a neighbour (please use the Special Delivery Instructions section in the secure website Alternatively, you can request that the parcel be left without a signature (e.g. in the porch, at the back door, in the garage, etc (please use the Special Delivery Instructions section in the secure website)). However, this is entirely at your own risk and neither we nor our carriers will accept responsibility should the wines be lost, stolen, or damaged as a result of such instructions being followed If you are sending the wine as a gift to somebody else, please check their availability (i.e. that they are not on holiday or away from home) If you happen to miss your delivery, contact the local depot using the contact details that have been left for you by the carrier. They can then rearrange re-delivery Upon delivery, customers are requested to examine all goods and note down any damage or shortages. Please then notify us within 24 hours and we will deal with any problems in a fair and timely manner We make every effort to deliver your package safely and securely - your assistance is appreciated in helping us achieve this goal Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes Delivery details and re-direction costsOur courier company attempts delivery twice if necessary and leaves a contact card if the recipient is not in. If the recipient does not then call their local depot as instructed, the parcel may be returned to us after 5 working days, the cost of which will be passed on to the customerWe cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses and postcodes given to us. If you provide a wrong address or postcode and we have to redirect your parcel to an alternative address, then we will charge a £10 redirection fee to your credit card If you want a parcel to be re-directed to a new address after we have dispatched it from our warehouse, we will need to charge a £10 redirection fee to your credit card Time specific deliveriesSaturday deliveries must be specifically requested on the checkout page [SEE ABOVE]. This is a Saturday morning service only.Pre 12 o’clock deliveries (Monday to Friday only) must be specifically requested on the checkout page [SEE ABOVE] Deliveries to Europe and the Rest of the WorldWe regret that we do not deliver internationally at this time. However we are happy to send goods on your behalf to friends or family in the UK so that they can pass them on to youBank Holiday deliveriesWe are unable to deliver on Bank HolidaysSending deliveries to alternative addressesWe are happy to send your order to a work address if this is more convenient for you, or to an alternative address if you are sending the wine as a giftDamaged or faulty goods – the replacement / refund procedureIf the parcel is damaged, you can refuse to sign for it. The parcel will be returned to us, and we will arrange for a replacement to be sentYou can accept the delivery, but when signing, you must write down how many bottles are damaged and the nature of the damage. We can then make arrangements for replacement bottles to be sent to you, or a refund for the damaged bottles if preferred Customers are requested to examine all goods at the time of delivery. Please note down any damage on the carrier’s delivery note when signing. Claims for breakages or shortage must be made by telephone to 01227 764 380 within 24 hours of delivery Please then confirm the claim in writing to us. Claims for breakages, shortage or non-delivery cannot be considered unless these conditions are observed. We will fully investigate all claims and replace or refund where necessary within 7 working days of notification |
