Hello again from Karl & Aileen

 

We issued our second newsletter on Friday, 4 July. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please click on the 'Subscribe to newlsletter' tab at the top of the website home page.

 

In terms of upcoming events, we will be conducting in-store tastings every Thursday to Saturday so keep a close eye on our blackboards for details. These are free tastings so come in and enjoy. This week, we will be showcasing jams, chutneys & preserves, aromatic wines for the Summer and cured meats.

 

Also, Karl will be presenting his second wine evening on Friday, 18 July from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Tickets are £10 per person for this tasting. We have also updated our menu to include 'small plates' or tapas just in case our more robust lunchtime menu was a step too far. Sarah Knox, who joined the team just over a month ago, will also be making up some fantastic salads for eat-in or takeaway.
